Our first podcast is coming in the next week or so. We have a logo, the technical tests are completed, the episode format is set and our opening theme and voice over will be completed by the end of next week. We anticipate a November 9th launch date – assuming all goes as planned. While our first episode will go into a bit about who we are, I figured it was time to introduce the podcast team:
@RetroWDW – Todd is your host the owner/creator of RetroWDW.com and author of Walt Disney World Made Simple (1991-2003). Todd has a vast knowledge of WDW dating back to his early childhood and a passion for the way WDW was. Through the years he also authored the Disney Future Attractions list and still runs DisneyCorner.com. Todd’s recent endeavors are the home movie restorations featured on RetroWDW.com
@GoAwayGreen – How is known for his love of all things Tiki and his affection for mixology. However his passion and knowledge for WDW history is a perfect match for the podcast. His keen eye for detail will bring a new light to our restored films; he also has so many topics to talk about that we see our podcast going on for years!
@BrianPMiles – Brian has established himself as not only a collector of retro items and FL memorabilia, but he’s got an incredible knack for finding old footage at garage sales. Brian will be heading up our audio puzzler segment on each episode and providing additional commentary throughout the podcast.
@Ls1jt – JT is a featured author on RetroWDW.com and comes to the team as one who has done tons of research. While we won’t go into details, he’s known to have a few special items in his WDW collection. JT’s on a quest for wave machine photos and is in charge of our “Listener Mail” segment of the podcast.
