Splashtacular was…one of the more unique shows to be seen in Epcot. The show ran from 1993 until 1994 during the transition of CommuniCore to Innoventions so that there was something to see in the center of Future World. The show featured numerous Disney characters, but also aliens and a giant dinosaur. An updated version of the Disneyland opening day attraction Rocket to the Moon, guests visit mission control before boarding their circular rocket for their voyage.
