Early 1980s Magic Kingdom Super8 Film w/Sound

This one will take you back to a time period right before the VHS camcorder became the standard. We begin at the Ticket/Transportation Center with some super clean ferry boat shots. The sound isn’t the greatest on this transfer, but having sound with film is a somewhat rare treat.

We see some various resorts, the monorail, Cinderella’s Castle, 80s Tomorrowland and quite a few various shots. The footage is fairly clean, giving you some little details from this era that you might miss if you don’t look closely.
Hope you enjoy this look back – short and sweet but so classic. Let us know if you can pinpoint an exact year. Enjoy!

I love videos like this! The crisp cleanliness of everything! I wish they would bring back all those amazing topiaries!

This is really great! I’m curious, though- what clues did you find in the video that led to the determination that it was shot in the early 80s vs. the late 70s? I mean, except for the kid at 2:12 with the alligator shirt, short shorts and knee high socks
