Today we take a visit to the Disney-MGM Studios in 1991! The park was very focused on production and offering guests a peek behind the scenes in its early years.
The Great Movie Ride was often the first stop for many guests, and offered a spectacular journey into the movies in a classic Disney attraction with detailed sets and Audio-Animatronic figures.
The main attraction was the Backstage Studio Tour, a tram ride through various facades and other set pieces, with a stop in Catastrophe Canyon.
Finally, the walking portion of the tour was introduced by a video starring Goldie Hawn and Rick Moranis
Thanks for posting the GMR clip. I see that was just after they stopped using the fake blood/pocket rip-off that was on the front shirt. I kick myself for not saving that uniform.
Thank you for posting! Just left WDW and my grandmother was very disappointed to see this ride gone. I understand though, no one knows the references anymore.
