Rare 16mm Walt Disney World Promotional Film

A series of clips issued by Disney in the 1970’s on 16mm film for promotional purposes. It starts outside the entrance to the park with footage of the entrance plaza and Seven Seas Lagoon. A quick eye at the 0:43 mark will realize that guests are exiting the MK monorail station on the side where you now board, this was the original design [until rains came and unloading guests into a smaller area presented a problem, hence why it was reversed]. A horse-drawn trolley and parading Mickey are seen on Main Street before we head to the Castle hub. It’s on to Liberty Square and the Rivers of America. A Dixieland band entertains guests as we transition to Adventureland, pulling into the Jungle Cruise dock. We then soar past the entrance plaza again with a variety of watercraft sailing on the Seven Seas Lagoon as we head higher up for more aerial shots of the castle. We make a brief stop to see Mickey Mouse conducting the Mickey Mouse Revue before the sun sets on a fun-filled day at the Magic Kingdom.
