Important Parking Information

Disney has already informed us the Yacht and Beach Club parking lots will NOT be available to attendees due to construction and preparation for the large Gartner technology conference happening in the weeks after our event. If you are planning to stay on Disney property, we strongly recommend you book a room in the Crescent Lake/Boardwalk area or along the Skyliner route (Pop Century, Art of Animation, Riviera Resort, or Caribbean Beach), as both options will make it possible for you to walk to the event.

We have requested alternative parking at the Boardwalk Resort but have not received permission yet from Disney. Other options would be to park at EPCOT on Saturday and, for those with park admission, walk to International Gateway or take a Minnie Van, rideshare or taxicab from EPCOT’s parking lot or from your nearby resort or lodging directly to the Yacht Club. Another option for those with free theme park parking is to park at Hollywood Studios and take the Skyliner to EPCOT.  The event is a short walk from the Skyliner station.  Accessible parking will be available at Yacht Club, utilizing complimentary valet parking for those with valid accessible parking placards or plates.

Room Blocks

We are pleased to share that we have partnered with Nicole Eule at Cruise Planners and are able to offer a limited number of discounted rooms next door to the Yacht Club at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel for a total price of $320 per night, which includes resort fees and hotel taxes.

RetroMagic’s weekend events are a short walk over the bridge between Yacht Club and the Dolphin at a price that’s less than half* the cost of a comparable room at the Yacht Club resort.

Please note these are “run of the house” rates meaning that a bed type is not guaranteed. If you wish to guarantee a room with either one king size bed or two queen sized beds, there is an additional cost of $20 per night. Additionally, self-parking is $32 per night. Valet parking is also available for $42 per night.

We hope that this discounted pricing makes a stay in a deluxe resort next to our event venue an obtainable option for RetroMagic attendees.

Book your room with Nicole by clicking on this link.

Look forward to another event. Any ideas / target where the event would be held (venue)? Just asking related to where to book a room when my booking window opens. It was great in April to be at Bay Lake Tower with the event at Contemporary. Thanks!

Oh, the irony. I used to work in Future World Attractions in Epcot back in the 80s. We’re having a reunion… on October 1, 2023. We’ve had to reschedule it twice already. I was considering booking a ticket just to attend Saturday night, but the parking situation has me thinking this was not meant to be. So it’s not that I don’t love y’all, but my fellow Future World Cast Members (friends for over 40 years) take priority for me. I hope you have a great event!

Sorry, no availability for parking at the site is a deal-breaker for this local prospective attendee. Getting to the venue seems like an arduous process if you are not staying at the hotel.

Wish I could have made this one too. The one I went to (2 back) was incredible. Had to have emergency surgery and couldn’t recover in time. Were there any leftover event gifts?
